‘Brown & Green’ was the name of our whole food restaurant we created for the BBC2 show ‘The Restaurant’. We love all that ‘Brown & Green’ stands for and have continued to keep the brand alive since the show. The name ‘Brown & Green’ comes from our college days when we’d all been out and had a few too many sherries! The morning after, instead of smashing in a greasy grimy fry-up we’d search Liverpool for what our friend Ed described as some ‘Brown & Green’. Basically some wholesome feel good food to re-vitalise us completely and set us up for the next party!
The brand lives on today as we’ve excitedly opened the first London based ‘Brown & Green’.... Pic above! WOOHOO!!
We're in Gipsy Hill Train station, Gipsy Hill- very near Crystal Palace. So if you haven't already please come and see us for a cuppa and a delicious cake!
We hope you’re happy with what you see and we’re looking forward to making your next party a Gobble Gobble party!
With our company growing day by day we are also looking to get a cool kids food show off the ground and are in the process of writing our first tweenagers cook book....watch this gobbly space! xx
